Oh my, what a rainy start to the wedding season. Nothing was ruining this lovely couples day, though! Teara and Pat planned for a gorgeous May day with a ceremony located at the pond but with the bad weather the ceremony was moved inside. Despite the rain the couple enjoyed a beautiful ceremony with 144 of their friends and family. We enjoyed working with Teara and Pat through their planning process. Teara brought centerpieces that were “mini trees” and Plenty of Petals decorated the bases with hydrangea and turquoise and red roses to match the color scheme. There were small glass containers that contained a little light that hung from some of the branches. It was a cute look and really spiced up the guest tables.
Here are some of my favorite moments and ideas from Teara and Pat’s wedding. The centerpieces described above were definitely a big hit. I have not seen a similar centerpiece in the many previous weddings I have worked. Definitely unique and creative. Next, the display for the place card table. There are many ways to dress up your specialty tables. Teara definitely worked some magic on her place card table by bringing in signs, crates, bottles and little knick knacks to spice it up. The place cards were also very elegant with a lace cutout. Very cute! Last but certainly not least the dessert table! Now who isn’t going to love a dessert table? But this couple brought the traditional candies like M&M’s, Reeses PB cups, Rice Krispie Treats but they also had donuts! Donuts for the win! Candy and dessert tables make for a great favor as well. Just add some decorative take out boxes or bags and the guests can pick what they love and enjoy it for days to come.
Congratulations Teara and Pat! It was a privilege to be a part of your special day!
Thank you to the vendors:
