I cannot say enough good things about this wedding and this couple. We truly had a blast working with them and their wedding was nothing short of beautiful and filled with winter spirit. I have definitely been converted to the idea of winter weddings. Shelbey and Shawn had a vision from day one. The day I toured them back in December 2016, they saw Harmony Hall Estate and they knew exactly how they wanted things set up. Shelbey envisioned lots of Christmas trees as their backdrop for their ceremony and that’s exactly what they had. We were able set up the ballroom so that the guests tables were to either side of the ballroom, making a nice big aisle for Shelbey to walk down. She entered from the double doors at the back of the ballroom, making a beautiful grand entrance. The ceremony was short but sweet and the guests got the party started.
The ballroom was decorated with guest tables covered in white linen and Burgundy napkins (which future couples are now able to use courtesy of Shelbey and Shawn 🙂 ). They had three floating candles for centerpieces that were wrapped in a wreath. My favorite idea was their guestbook. They had a tree picked out and placed to the back of the ballroom. They had different glass ornaments for their guests to sign and then to hang up on the tree. I think this was just so special, every winter they will be able to hang up their ornaments and reminisce on their wedding day.
