Rebecca and Jacob chose to have their Wedding Ceremony and Reception at Harmony Hall Estate on April 15, 2017. They chose the perfect day! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and could not have been better for an outside ceremony. The ceremony was held at the pond but inside of the chairs being set up around the pond they were all set up in the grass behind and were facing the platform (see pictures below). They had a beautiful ceremony that ended in the “Sailor Dip” which was the brides favorite kiss.
The guests proceeded into the ballroom where they enjoyed cocktail hour and a buffet style dinner. To kick off the night Rebecca and Jacob led the Grand March! This was something different for Harmony Hall Estate and it was a blast to watch. It was a wonderful way to get guests up on the dance floor and participating and be ready for the dancing to begin. After the Grand March, Rebecca and Jacob went straight into their first dance but because they had done the Grand March prior to, all their family and friends surrounded them as they did their first dance and parent dances. This was a wonderful moment for the couple. After the specialty dances the party kicked off and the guests danced the night away.
Some great ideas from Rebecca and Jacob’s wedding that might be perfect for your wedding may include their Signature Drink. They had a Shirley temple with a splash of orange juice and peach schnapps and a non-alcoholic drink that was a Shirley Temple with a splash of orange juice. Yummmm. It matched their colors of grey, white and coral, perfectly. The couple provide activity books for the kids to enjoy throughout the evening. It contained images for the kids to color, word searches, a scavenger hunt and many other activities. Lastly, the couple handed out chocolate roses as their favor for the dollar dance. Shots or cookies are a popular idea but the chocolate roses made for a cute display and something unique.
