Katie & Eric, October 6, 2017

Katie and Eric kicked off a very full month of October weddings. They had a beautiful wedding to say the least. It was simple and elegant. The couple chose to get married in front of the woods. The rented an arbor and Eric did a wonderful job of decorating with drapery and flowers the morning of their wedding. Inside the ballroom they decorated with a cream linen and provided a gold sequin runner to go on the guest tables. Plenty of Petals provided the centerpieces which were a simple round vase with baby’s breath. Like, I said, simple and elegant. One of my favorite decorations from this wedding was the place card board. Eric made it himself out of wood and corks. He made a frame and glued wine corks in the board. Lots and lots of wine corks. 😀 It turned out great and is now something they can use to decorate their home. Katie and Eric had a great idea for favors. Instead of doing a favor at every guest seat, they decided to use their end of evening snack as their favor. The end of evening snack is a popular thing to do. We frequently see the pretzel station, tator & fry bar or the slider station which is what Katie and Eric chose. Guests can go up to the station and chose a hamburger or cheeseburger slider and add the toppings that they wish. It’s a favor that is sure to be used.
