September 24, 2016 was Jennifer and Harold’s day to get married. Harmony Hall had the privilege of hosting their Ceremony and Reception. They had a woodland inspiration with colors of purple and green. Keeping with their theme they chose to have their ceremony in front of the woods at Harmony Hall Estate. They decorated their aisle with mason jars filled with baby’s breath that sat on stumps to give it a little more “pop.” After the I do’s the couple made their exit as Mr. & Mrs. and began their new life together with a picture of all their closest friends and family. Their photographer stood on the porch of the Farmhouse and looked down at the couple and their guests as they stood in a heart, making a picture that will be with them forever.
As guests moved into the ballroom, the reception began. Jen and Harold used the in-house centerpiece (square mirror, square vase filled with water) they added river rocks, moss, and candles to dress it up and make sure it fit into the theme of their wedding. The couple played a game of “who will take the cake.” They put two jars on the cake table with the letter “B” on one and “G” on the other. Guests put money in the jar to the corresponding person they wanted to see get the cake smashed in their face. This was a cute game to get guests more involved in the cake cutting and have a little fun. Needless to say, they both got caked in the face. The night ended with dancing and merriment. We wish Jen and Harold all the best as they start this new beginning. Congrats to you both!
"I just want to say how wonderful it was to have my wedding and reception at Harmony Hall. Karen, Jill and Lexi were all so great! They made planning so easy and stress free. The day was beautiful and everything I dreamed of. Thank you gentlemen so much!"
