Fulton Bank recently had an event for their employees and we had the privilege of being the host for the evening. They chose to have this event be a carnival theme and we loved it. Who doesn’t love a carnival?
They used our in-house gold linen and brought in red and white balloons as well as banners to decorate the guest tables that were located towards the front of the ballroom at Harmony Hall Estate. The back of the room was where all the food stations were. All the stations were decorated with tickets, candy and banners that had the name of each station. Our favorite decorations though…the balloon animals. What’s a carnival without balloon animals? The food stations were a hit. We had a Grab n’ Go station (fruit skewers and salad in mason jars), Philly Sub station, French Fry station, Walking Taco station, Cup O’ Dinner (pulled pork, mac n’ cheese and cole slaw or roast beef, mashed potatoes, and corn) and last but not least a Dessert station which consisted of fried Oreos, Twinkies and Funnel Cake. Sounds pretty good to me.
Themes are a great way to help decorate a room, make a creative menu and keep your guests entertained. Come up with a festive theme and your event is sure to be a success. Don’t be overwhelmed by decorations. They can be as simple as our banners that consisted of red and white construction paper and twine. Easy but cute. The possibilities are endless.
"I just want to say how wonderful it was to have my wedding and reception at Harmony Hall. Karen, Jill and Lexi were all so great! They made planning so easy and stress free. The day was beautiful and everything I dreamed of. Thank you gentlemen so much!"
